I N the four weeks to July 15 last,
British Road Services . earned £6,157,000. Revenue for the 28 weeks to July 15 amounted to E40,517,000. Both these figures show a substantial increase on those for the comparable • periods of last year.
The British Transport Commission's provincial and Scottish road passenger transport interests yielded £3,945,000 in the four weeks to July 15 and £21,699,000 in the 28 weeks. Comparable figures for London Transport were £4,744,000 and 131.483,000.
It is understood that 150 Atkinson eight-wheelers and tractors have been ordered for British Road Services,
