Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

;olls-Royce engines are to be offered as an ption on, certain Saviem models in the near uture.

Previously, the French company has used IAN engines in the top weight tractive units. ut this has often been a case for isagreement, because the MAN machines sed the latest engines, while Saviem had to lake do with the earlier designs.

The Rolls-Royce engines will be from the top f the six-cylinder Eagle range, the 305 and the 20 Mark Ills. Sharing the same basic urbocharged design with a capacity of 12.2 litres (743cuin), the engines develop 227 and 238kW (305 and 320bhp) respectively.

The original agreement between Saviem and MAN concerned the availability of components.

Saviem provided MAN with the pressings to make the all-steel tilt cab while MAN supplied Saviem with engines.

This arrangement is now being wound down gradually, although each partner will still deliver the components that each needs, as long as the existing models continue.
