EARLY one million pounds worth of goods were stolen in London last year from mmercial vehicles in nearly 50 cases of hi:king and about 6,500 raids on unattended hides parked in the streets. The Metropolitan Ilice are seriously concerned about this innsing form of crime, especially as the hi:kings are nearly always accompanied by )1ence.
So on their stand (15G) at the Commercial otor Show they are concentrating on giving me prevention advice to all engaged in road ulage and transport.
