I T is understood that the Road Haul age Executive is now employing stocktakers, ostensibly to assist hauliers in the compilation of stock schedules. Hauliers need not permit these checkers to enter their premises and, if they do so, they should not allow themselves to be intimidated into accepting unduly low valuations for spare parts.
Operators whose businesses are to be taken over by the •R.H.E. would be better advised to employ a professional valuer of their own for this purpose.
