A MANAGEMENT board which has been set up to oversee the transition to independent commercial operation of Greater Manchester Transport's engineering operations is to he chaired by David
Cherry.
Cherry is managing director of GMT's Northern Counties Engineering Company. With him on the board will be the company's chief engineer, Brian Holcroft.
