• A Powell Duffryn 17T Dinotrailer semitrailer was recently added to the fleet operated by Thompson Metals ICwmcarn} Ltd. and is being mainly used for the recovery of abandoned cars. The fleet also includes two Powell Duffryn Dumpsters and five Dinosaurs, which are employed in conjunction with over 100 containers. Acquisition of the Dinotrailer by Thompson Metals coincided with the opening of the company's new hammermill fragmentation plant at Barry Dock.

The Statpackers will be used to feed the compaction trailers which are of the totallyenclosed type.
