• Mr. Richard Marsh, the Minister of Transport, visits Liverpool today. He is to tour the docks and meet representatives of the recently formed Merseyside PTA.
During the morning the Minister will visit Seaforth to see the progress being made on the new docks; Gladstone Container Terminal and South East Hornby Dock where he is to meet dockers representatives. He will also visit Birkenhead to see facilities at Vittoria Dock.
