• This year's Commercial Motor Truckfest (30 April-1 May) is on course to attract a record-breaking entry of the best trucks in Europe, thanks to a sponsorship deal arranged with ferry company Olau-Line UK which will bring in overseas competitors for the Shell Super Truck Challenge free of charge.
The weekend will also see Kim Rolfe, who won the Commercial Motor Truckfest 86 Best Kept Working Truck prize, back in action hoping to repeat history. She is going to the East of England Showground near Peterborough with a Mercedes tipper, looking for an award.
