Ma. F. G. Jacacnott, manager of the ceatrat personnel department of the Fort Dunlop factory, has been appointed deputy works director of the Calcutta factory.
Ms. W. G. GEE has been appointed chairman of the Midland branch of the Industrial Transport Association. MR. J. H. HOMER is vice-chairman and MR. S. L. EADES secretary.

MR. J. C. FRANKLIN, A.1Ns-r.T., chief engineer of Salford Transport Department, is to succeed MR. C. T. HutarroGE, B.Sc., as general manager of Rochdale Transport Department. Before holding his present position at Salford, he was rdlling-stock engineer to Walsall Transport Department, and previously was works superintendent With the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Co., Ltd.
MR. F. C. EMERSON. deputy branch manager in the Midlands of Regent Oil Co., Ltd., is leaving Birmingham for Brighton to become Southern branch manager. He joined Trinidad Leaseholds, Ltd., the parent company, in 1939. His successor in the Midlands is MR. J. f W. MILES, formerly divisional manager at Cardiff. He joined Trinidad Leaseholds, Ltd., in 1935, as a sales representative.

POLLITZER continue as chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, of the heavy haulage machinery carriers' group.
