'HE FREIGHT Transport ssociation will expand on anuary 1 next year to take ■ ver the 200-member British hippers Council.
This will give British trade nd industry a single cornrehensive transport users' oice with a membership in xcess of 15,000.
It is not expected that the rganisations' functions will lter much, but there will be 3me integration of functions ffecting shipping matters.
