'he Fergussons tanker is ed on a Ford D0707 3.05m k) wheelbase chassis. The k itself is made up from ?,e 4.8mm (31 16in) stainless el tanks finished as a rioblock construction.
)ne tank holds water and ergent for supplying pres surised soapy water for cleaning the inside of the hydrant pit boxes.
A second tank receives all the dirty water and sludge from the base of the hydrant pit by means of a vacuum, while the third tank removes any contamination.
