Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

UUK South's presence in the South East is already paying off. Oriental food retailer Hoo Hing, with its 60-strong fleet, sent a demountable rigid for repair and after learning about the site's R&M capability, requested a refurb programme for 40 more over the year.

Others are looking at new-build fridge trucks, for a better deal on modifications, pricing and downtime — one buyer wanted stainless steel pillars and top corner panels to counter longer-term damage.

Another facet is its chassis conversion skills, which are exemplified by an MAN 26-tonner for Euro Foods, which had a Dhollandia tuckaway side lift fitted as well as a column lift at the rear.

Lamberet UK South plans to offer R&M packages, and its trailer repair work includes onsite servicing, roadside breakdowns, MoT preps, testing and wash-down facilities, all of which should generate new sales.

'Surrounded by such an array of distribution organisations, and considering the large population of 3.5-26-tonne GW/ rigids operating throughout the Home Counties," says general manager Howard Charlesworth, "we are aware of the potential on offer."
