By Llavid Harris A KENT OPERATOR who preferred hiring Polish drivers has had his 0-licence revoked after they committed a series of tachograph offences.

Martin John Jordan, who trades under the name of Union Express, held a

standard international licence to operate eight vehicles from New Street Farm in Ashford. Kent. This licence has been revoked and Jordan has been disqualified from holding an 0-licence for 12 months from 31 July 2009. Philip Brown (shown), SouthEastern & Metropolitan Traffic Commissioner, said that Jordan's drivers had committed -wholesale breaches of the tacho regulations': including driving the vehicles when they were supposed to be "at rest':
