• Se!mar offers a wide range of security alarms for all types of vehicles, including semi-trailers and demountable containers.
Where the latter are left uncoupled from the tractive unit or prime mover Selmar's independent trailer alarm provides full automatic protection. It is selfcontained, operating from its own rechargeable gel-type batteries, and once the driver has closed all entry points the alarm se Is itself.
To regain entry without sounding the warning the driver uses a high-security Kaba Keyswitch. A similar version operates only when coupled to the vehicle.
Selmar's "A" type automatic alarm for high-security delivery vehicles has a selfpowered siren which is automatically armed 15 seconds after the driver switches off the engine and closes the cab door. Re-entry, loading and unloading from the rear requires the use of a special key and the last door to close activates the system. Panic buttons are also supplied.
Sehnar's "B" type manual alarm protects all body openings and includes a petrol-engine immobiliser. The siren has its own power source and a panic button is available. A similar system uses ultrasonic detectors, and diesel fuel cut-offs and slam locks are optional extras.
