Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• AIM Hydraulics of Oakworth, Keighley, is offering a compact vehicle-mounted crane specifically for light commercials. The Dualift crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 500kg at 2.13 metres, and can be fitted easily to most LCVs above 1.5 tonnes.

Safety features on the Dualift include an audible warning and automatic cut-out which is activated when loads in excess of the rated capacity are being lifted. The winch circuit is protected by a 35 amp thermal cut-out, and remote control is fitted as standard.

With a total lift capacity of one tonne/metre the Dualift, excluding subframe, weighs 176kg with a winch and 160kg without. A transport lock prevents movement of the boom in transit, and an outrigger leg on the subframe provides extra stability.

AIM can supply the Dualift with either a hydraulic pump or a 12or 24-volt electric power pack. The boom extends to 2.13 metres and maximum lift height over the vehicle platform under the hook is 3,404min. The price of a Dualift with a 12-volt power pack is around 21,800.
