A NEW directory detailing most methods of distribution in the UK and 200 overseas countries is avai able.
The 352-page directory, entitled Send It Anywhere Directory', lists distribution methods ranging from telecommunications, through documents, letters and parcels ro large indivisible loads carried by road, rail air and sea.
A spokesman for compiler and publisher Kogan Page said there were 700 freight forwarding companies listed and 150 road hauliers. The directory gives all the relevant information on all modes of transport and leaves it up to the customer to make the final choice, he said. "We do not tell them which form of transport is best," he said. "The decision is theirs."
