NEGOTIATIONS are, I understand, being carried on between C. L. and H. L. Blundell Ltd., of Folkestone, Kent, and Klockner-Hinnboldt-Deutz AG, of Germany, under which t Blundells will be appointed sole concessionaires for Magirus Deutz vehicles in the UK. A company has been formed by Blundell for this purpose, with Mr. J. DeVere as managing director, which will operate from premises in Ashford, The German company hopes to make a statement in September.
At the moment, the types and models of Niacin's Deutz that will be on sale are not known. Under the terms of a contract signed this week it is anticipated that sales will build up to around 500 a year. Full delivery should start in October.
Change of Company Name : Bonallack Mann Egerton Refrigerated Vehicles Ltd., is to change its name to Bonal tack Refrigerated Vehicles Ltd.
