We record with regret the deaths of Stanley Finkle and B. Smart.
Mr. Finkle, 81, had retired from Sunderland Corporation Transport 17 years ago. having served four years as deputy general manager since joining the department in 1908.
Mr. Smart had been in business for many years as a haulier at Coates, near Peterborough: for many years he was a member of the transport liaison committee of the British Sugar Corporation.
