Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I WAS STUCK in traffic while driving to Newcastle recently and the thought came tome-why isn't the space on the back of lorries sold for advertising? It happens on buses, after all, and you see trailers with advertising boards pulled up and down and parked on roadsides.

I realise there may be problems with some vehicle design but thought it could be a handy way to increase revenue for many companies. Perhaps they would need to ensure they weren't advertising competitors to their customers, but even so I would have thought that companies with massive budgets for advertising, such as Orange and Coca-Cola, would be interested in the idea-I tried the RHA website but !couldn't find out how to contact them so then I thought of you my father was a haulier and read your magazine for years.

I also thought of contacting one of the big companies like Eddie Stobart, but to be honest 1 wanted this idea to reach more than just one company. In these times of high costs, anything that could help should be worth a look at. Perhaps the driver could be paid a percentage of the revenue on condition they kept the advert clean? Could curtainsiders have a sort of flexible plastic 'pocket' that an advert could be slipped into? Most lorries have empty space on the tailgates which could accommodate some form of advert.

I just thought this was too good an idea to let rest. Please let me know what you think am barking mad, a bit sad, or do you agree this is worth pursuing?
