COMMERCIAL vehicle production in July was — except for July 1973 — the highest for over three years.
At 40,700 units, output was around a fifth greater than in June. Output for home and export markets increased sharly between the two months.
For the three months May to July, production averaged 36,100 vehicles a month, 14 per cent up on FebruaryApril and 4 per cent more than 1973 averages.
