Newcastle Adding to Its Bus Fleet.

Newcastle Corporation, the motorbus fleet of which has, during the past year or two, grown into one of the largest and most up-tcedate in the country, has decided further to augment its bus activities by the purchase of another six machines at a cost of between f9,000 and £10,000. At the present time the corporation. operates about 58 pneumatie-tyred saloon omnibuses of A.D.C., Daimler, Dennis and Guy makes. The idea behind the purchase of the new vehicles is to ensure that a number of emerpncy units is available.
