Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

COMMERCIAL VEHICLE Auctions (CVA), based in Doncaster, generated £2m in sales during its three-day sale to celebrate 20 years in existence.

The auction house had more than 1,000 commercial vehicles, plant and vans up for sale and saw the conversion rate surpass 60%.

CVA reports that Mercedes-Benz took the honours with a 2006-registered Axor 2543 making £21,100, and a fleet of 03-plated Mercedes 2628 6x4 tipper grabs selling for between £13,500 and £14,900 each.

In addition, two 2005-registered DAF CF85.430 6x2s made £.15,000 each.

In the van sector, a 2008 Mercedes-Benz Vito 111 went for £9,100, while a 2007 Sprinter 311 Luton made £14,100.

More than 700 registered buyers attended the event, and CVA is keen to repeat the experience in September with the same format and additional two-day back-to-back truck and plant auctions on 19/20 May and 28/29 July. •
