Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

GRAMPIAN Region plans a Parliamentary Order seeking a ban on overnight parking of heavy vehicles in Aberdeen.

This would involve a blanket ban on lorries over 30 cwt within most of the city, allowing that certain streets would be specified for parking.

Some 500 vehicles park each night in public places at present which is substantially up on the 1976 survey. Similar restrictions apply in Glasgow on which Aberdeen is basing its application to Scottish Secretary George Younger.
