The Automobile Association has been experimenting for some time with redreflector discs to be fitted to the backs of stationary vans and other commercial vehicles, so that they will give effi dent service in the event of the rear light being obscured.
The type of attachment which has been devised is shown in accompanying illustrations. It is so arranged that the doors or tailboards cannot be opened or dropped, as the case may be, without the reflector 'being moved out to such a position that it is clearly visible to other traffic from the back.
