• South Yorkshire Transport is countering a strong challenge in Doncaster by hiring in a crew-operated Routemaster double-decker from Scarborough and District.
The additional vehicle will run an hourly service on the minibus route to Beckett Road, running three minutes ahead of competitor Wilfreda Beehive of Adwick, which operates fullsize single-deckers.
