We asked respondents: are you actively measuring your carbon footprint?
Nearly two-thirds (62%) said no, while 34% said yes. That outcome is both disappointing and predictable.
Logistics and contract distribution firms are considerably more likely to be measuring than hire anc
reward hauliers — 'yes' votes were 76% and 17% respectively — while own-account operators fall squarely in the middle (41% said yes).
Predictably, operators serving the retail and wholesale sector were most likely to be measuring (43% said yes), while those in agriculture are the least likely (17% said yes).
