• A finance scheme has been launched by Leyland Daf which will allow truck buyers to vary their instalments.
Rather than paying a set amount every month, the Leyland Daf Truck Finance scheme allows customers to take payment "holidays" during difficult months, then pay double when cashflow improves.
The company claims the scheme is the first of its type, "It offers features which are particularly valuable to operators whose income is affected by seasonal factors," says a spokesman.
