• A new BRS Parcels branch to serve the North Hampshire area was opened last week at Basingstoke by Maj-Gen A. F. J. Elmslie. The branch premises are on a 31-acre site on the Basingstoke Daneshill East Industrial Estate. The main building covers an area 270ft long by 125ft wide. The raised loading platform is 45ft wide and is covered with maple strip flooring laid diagonally.
