DEMANDS from Poland have contributed to the orders totalling more than £500,000 in value which GUY Motors, Ltd., have received during the past few weeks. Motoimport, the Polish purchasing organization, require 11 Invincible sixwheeled tippers. This model was exhibited at the Poznan Trade Fair in June.

CHAMPION DRIVER GOES TO FRANCE

14R. C. DAINES who, as reported last 1V1 week, is the Lorry Driver of the Year for 1959-1960, is going to France as the guest of the B.M.C. Drivers' Club to compete in the International Lorry Driver Championship to be held at Angers on Sunday, under the auspices' of Les Amis des Routiers. He will drive the Austin 3-ton vehicle belonging to his employers Fred Myers, Ltd., Windsor, in which he competed at Bramcote a fortnight ago.
