Digital tachograph driver and company cards cost 238 each and are valid for five years, Both cards can be obtained by applying to the DVLA, which will accept applications up to three months in advance.
Before applying for a card it is vital to take certain factors into consideration. Firstly, firms must consider whether they have the electronic infrastructure to support a digitach fleet: secondly, they must determine how and when to train staff with the new equipment.
