Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the Jeremy Vine programme on Radio 2 and the remarks made about LGVs in cities. Being a cyclist is a scary experience — but that isn't trucks' fault. I have an idea: most cyclists have personal protective equipment (PPE), so couldn't they have a small radio device fitted to their PPE that transmits a warning of any nearby LGVs? It would warn the cyclist in the blind spot or on the nearside of the truck. I don't plan to profit from this, but if it saved just one life it would be worth it.

John Murphy Redgate Holdings Ed's note: This is a great idea — so much so that someone else has already had it. Cycle Alert was launched at the CV Show last month. Find more details on cy clealert. com
