Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A warehouse manager who was caught redhanded with hijacked goods when police raided his premises has been jailed for 5! years.

Some of the cargoes, including video equipment, wines and spirits, were on their way to Bangladesh and Japan, Snaresbrook Crown Court was told. Andrew Munday, prosecuting, said that Gary Mitchell, of Bancroft Road, Mile End, East London, was a "substantial handler of stolen goods".

On 8 November last year when police raided his warehouse in Stratford, East London more than £100,000 worth of stolen property was found. The court heard that the goods related to thefts from lorries dating back to May last year.

Officers found £12,910 worth of detergents and washing up liquid stolen in the early hours of 6 November from warehouse distributor T Paynes based in Purfleet, Essex.

The largest cache found was £86,439 worth of spirits stolen from a lorry belonging to Quadfleet, based in Basildon, Essex.

Also found was a quantity of video equipment stolen from a lorry belonging to warehouse distributor Jessop of Leicester, and bound for Bangladesh.

Further searches revealed an unspecified value of stolen wines and spirits which belonged to British Airways.
