• lveco Ford on stands 60-63 and 91-92 in Hall A is showing six vehicles including the new Loadstar 175.17 16-tonne gross weight 4x2 tipper with the 5.9 litre sixcylinder 130kW (177hp) engine. The range is available with a choice of five wheelbases from 3,800 to 5,900mm, the model on show being the shortest. It has an all-steel aggregate body with Edbro tipping gear.

Two eight-wheelers, the Iveco 300.25 30-tonne gross weight model with the air-cooled 188kW Deutz vee-eight engine, and the latest 300.30 'Maggie' with the 12.8 litre twin turbocharged Deutz air cooled engine, are on show. The 300.30 model is available in two wheelbases of 5.96 and 6.46m with a sleeper cab offered on the latter. Fuller or ZF gearboxes are available for both vehicles.

Also on show is the Carbo 2424 6 x4 fitted with the 179kW Cummins LT10250, a Wildconlite body and Edbro tipping gear. A Cargo 3828 tractive unit is exhibited with a Weightlifter trailer. The 4 x 2 unit is powered by the 208kW turbocharged and aftercooled Cummins sixcylinder ten litre LTA10-290 engine, with the optional Eaton twin-splitter gearbox.
