I see that Penshurst Place, near Tonbridge, is going to be the venue for a motoring pageant that includes vintage commercials as well as cars and stationary engines, on May 11.
Unlike most such gatherings it will have no prizes and no concourthe object is simply to raise funds for a local Cheshire Home. Rally round, .folks!
