E4M ORDER for Ford commercial vehicles has been placed by e Sec uricor group.
The company has asked Ford truck specialist dealer, Hangar ucks of Birmingham to supply a total of 881 vehicles. The der is made up of 618 long-wheelbase Transit 190 vans, 243 Series D0710s and 20 D-Series D1618s.
All the vehicles will be bodied by Bedwas Bodybuilders at its ,o factories in Gwent and Preston.
Securicor has also placed an order with Chiswick Garage of )ndon for the supply of 180 short-wheelbase Transit 120 vans, 7 Escort vans and 280 cars. This order is valued at £3m.
The vehicles will be used on Securicor's expanding parcels isiness and for cash and bullion transfer.
