*The 7th annual Tipping Convention, which is sponsored by the Road Haulage Association tipping group, takes place at Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, from Friday, April 27 until lunchtime on Sunday April 29.
Subjects to be covered include the "European Coal and Steel Community and the Road Haulier"; a paper by members of the Swedish RHA on "Co-operative Working in Sweden"; commodity group discussions; a Question and Answer session where the operator will meet the vehicle manufacturers and on the Sunday morning there is an open session on "The Role of the Tipping Haulier". This year the exhibition of vehicles and trailers will be held under cover in the hotel's new exhibition hall. There will be 25 vehicle manufacturers represented. As yet no arrangements have been made for working demonstrations as in previous years.
Attendance at the convention is open to all members of the RHA.
