Mr. L. F. Voisey has joined The A.P.V. Co., Ltd., Crawley, Sussex, as sales engineer responsible for transport tank sales.

Mr. W. G. Copestake, at present deputy general manager and chief engineer, is to succeed Mr. W. H. Smith as general manager of the Birmingham Transport Department. Mr. Smith retires on August 7.

Mr. K. Walker has been appointed manager of the oilfield division of U.S. Industries Inc. (Great Britain), Ltd. He was previously regional manager for South America and the West Indies. Mr. J. Potts has been appointed sales manager of the Refrigerated Vehicle Division of Mann Egerton and Co., Ltd.

New appointments to the board of Austin Crompton Parkinson Electric Vehicles, Ltd., are Mr. C. A. J. Martin and Mr. A. P. Goddard.

Mr. R. E. M. Pratt, managing, director of the B.M.C. Swedish subsidiary, is to resign his directorship and return to the U.K. next month because of ill health. Mr. F. Sigholm has been appointed to succeed him on April 1.

Mr. S. Hughes, convenor of the Glasgow Municipal Transport Committee, has been appointed a member of the Transport Users' Consultative Committee for Scotland, as a representative of local authorities; he replaces Mr. J. Bennett, who has resigned.

Mr. L. G. Oxford has resigned the managing directorship of Simmonds Acrocessories, Ltd., and his position as a director of Firth Cleveland, Ltd., in order to become full-time managing director of Fram Filters, Ltd., Treforest; he had been acting managing director of Fram since July, 1961. Mr. E. S. Mead, a director of Firth Cleveland, has been appointed managing director of Simmonds in succession to Mr. Oxford. Mr. C. J. Williams continues as assistant managing director of Simmonds and will be chief executive.
