SHELVOKE AND DREWRY LTD.
A 60 CU. YD. Pakamatic collector will be available, also 35 cu. yd. and 50 cu. yd. models in the same series. A 20 Cu. yd. Pakamatic unit, that will be demonstrated. is well suited for operation in confined spaces, being only 6 ft. 6 in. wide with a swept circle of 35 ft. The SD exhibit will be completed by a 25 cu. yd. fore-and-aft tipping bulk-bin loading vehicle and a 20 cu. yd. fore-and-aft tipping refuse collector.
SHEPPARD FABRICATIONS LTD.
SEVERAL SPECIMENS of Sheppard MeiIler container handling units will be demonstrated. There will also be a 12 cu. yd. compacting container for employment with the Sheppard static packer. Refuse placed in the hopper of the pack is compressed into the container by means of a ram.
STANLEY ENGINEERING CO. LTD.
PROMINENT ON the Stanley stand will be the Manulectric Model 730 Mark 3 which carries a 3 Cu. yd. power-tipping body and is capable of providing a street cleansing service up to 45-50 miles a day. The top speed on the level is 22 m.p.h. and the carrying capacity is 30 cwt. The Manulectric pedestrian-controlled street orderly and the Manual orderly truck will also be shown.
R. S. STOKVIS AND SONS LTD. TENNANT INDUSTRIAL cleaners will again be shown including, for the first time at this exhibition, the Tennant 42 scrubber-sweeper which is the smallest of the range and is selfpropelled by either a 4 h.p. petrol engine or a propane fuel unit. The Model 42 works at speeds of up to 3 m.p.h., sweeping 18,000 sq. ft. per hour and handles easily in tight places. The 42E has a similar performance to the standard 42 but is electrically driven by its own batteries.
TELEHOIST LTD.
LARGEST OF this company's offerings will be the Telehoist Huge Haul demountable container system fitted to a Dodge KT900 chassis. Telelube air-operated automatic chassis lubrication with an integral timing device is incorporated in this model. There will also be the company's Fly-Spill retractable wheelbase tipper-trailer on Hands running gear, and a CH400M Load Lugger on a Bedford chassis.
VAUXHALL MOTORS LTD.
CHASSIS BY Vauxhall are to be shown in conjunction with Eagle Collection bodies. There will also be a Bedford-Lacre sweeper and a Bedford-Yorkshire gully emptier.
WALKER'S MECHANICAL CLEANSING LTD.
WAYNE POWER sweeper Models 1244 and 554 will be featured by the Walker organisation. These are driver-operated sweepers suitable for use on roads, in car parks, and in similar areas. When sweeping large open areas the 1244 model will clean approximately 200,000 sq. ft. per hour and the larger 554 model will clean approximately 250,000 sq. ft. per hour.
YORKSHIRE PATENT STEAM WAGON CO.
A YORKSHIRE 500 gal. gully emptier is to be shown mounted on a two-wheel trailer and suitable for operating with an agricultural tractor. This is an appliance that offers the the smaller user a Yorkshire standard gully unit in the most mobile form possible. Also to be seen will be a Yorkshire 1,000 gal. combined gully and cesspool emptier, and a Yorkshire road sweeper fitted with twin steering, dual suction nozzles, full width sweep attachment, and a crane arm wander lead.
