LIBERAL CHALLENGE ON TRANSPORT POLICY

1BERALS in Parliament are chat. L. longing Mr. Wilson to lay his transport policy open for all to see, following the Transport Minister's uncomfortable greeting for the Geddes Report last week.

Members Peter Bessell, Russell Johnson, Eric Lubbock and Jeremy Thorpe have tabled a motion condemning the Government's failure, after nine months in office, to provide its plan ol co-ordination of road and rail services.

They express grave concern that the lack of a streamlined, modern transporl system is impeding the economy and the export drive, and they urge Mr. Wilson to publish his plans without further delay.

The same four, in another motion, deplore the Government's failure to speed up the motorway programme, and urge attention to their own plan for Government sponsored loans.
