A WEST YORKSH IRE operator claims to be owed £4,000 by a collapsed Staffordshire transport company that gave him work just days before its demise.

Administrators were called into Bridgens Transport in Tamworth on 19 January — days later a new firm, Bridgens (BL) Logistics was operating from the same premises, having bought the collapsed firm's assets Subcontractor Malcolm Bright says he was given loads from Bridgens Transport on II January eight days before administrators From Begbies Traynor were called in to sort out its business and assets.

Bridgens Transport went in to administration on 19 January. On 28 November last year. a company called Bridgens (BL) Logisi incorporated at Com House. On 8 December it for an 0-licence from th( address as BridgensTransp interim authority was grar VOSA on 4 January.

A Begbies Traynor spok confirms that BridgensTrar business and assets were Bridgens (BL) Logistics as a "quick sale" dayslater.
