This part of the country has been home to what might be the last major gang of parts thieves in England. A police operation led to a number of criminals from the area being convicted of stealing trucks to break and sell off the parts.
But police say there is no longer much money to be made from this activity. These days criminals from northern areas are more involved in stealing loads they can sell at markets on or internet auction sites.
