THANK YOU on behalf of Susan Purkiss at AJ Purkiss Ltd for getting the announcement headed 'Trailer sought' into the magazine (CM 19January).

The trailer in question was spotted on 23 January in a lay-by off Junction 9 of the Al heading north. We have since collected the trailer and brought it back to Harlow, though there was no sign of its timber load.

The rear doors were bent and buckled, one wing was missing. a tyre was damaged, all signwriting stickers were scratched off and there was plenty of mud on it.

But it could have been worse; it's a tall trailer and they managed to avoid any low bridges!

Thanks again for your support — it has been much appreciated.
