HAVIN( JUST read your excellent article headed 'Train of Thought (CM 12 January), there is only small criticism I have of it.Within the training industry we refer to HGVs as LGVs. It would be of benefit to use LGV when writing articles about LGV driver training as it would cut out confusion to potential trainees.

1 know it's only a small point, but it's one worth mentioning.

• Editor's note: In the past we have referred to HG Vs as that was industry practice. However, in light of your letter we've re-appraised the CM house style book and from our next issue will refer to LGVs as opposed to HG Vs.
