WEST MIDLANDS Police are to pay closer attention to tractor units running without trailers in an attempt to clamp down on truck theft.

From this week, any police officer on routine patrol who spots a tractor unit will pull it over as a matter of course in a campaign dubbed 'SlopThat Cab'.
