WEST MIDLANDS Police are to pay closer attention to tractor units running without trailers in an attempt to clamp down on truck theft.
From this week, any police officer on routine patrol who spots a tractor unit will pull it over as a matter of course in a campaign dubbed 'SlopThat Cab'. It will last indefinitely and could be extended to other parts of the Midlands Detective Constable Round says tractor units trailers are unusual:"Wei that if we see a lone trac well speak to the driver. I i the ways we thought w tackle tractor unit theft as the offences are IN more serious."
