Freight '95
• The Freight Transport Association's annual conference is to be held at the Belfry, Warwickshire on 1-2 March. Speakers include environmentalist David Bellamy, the Labour Party's shadow transport secretary Michael Meacher, transport secretary Dr Brian Mawhinney, and transport academics Jim Cooper and Peter Hills.
The conference will include five workshops over the two days and a dinner with Margaret Thatcher's former press secretary Sir Bernard Ingham as guest speaker.
