It will be run by Pat Howes as divisional chief executive. lie has been with the company for 20 years, the past six as UK parcels director.

Under him will be Richard Benson, who until now headed the Securicor-owned motorcycle courier service Pony Express. He becomes managing director, UK parcels. Rob Andrews will he managing director, European parcels. Also reporting to Howes will he finance director Richard Hawkins and a sales and marketing director who is still to be appointed.
