LEYLAND VEHICLES admitted this week that there has been a "hiccup" in negotiations with trades unions over the transfer of Leyland Titan production to Eastern Coach works.
The Lowestoft plant is due to start building Titans early next year, six months after the Park Royal plant stops building the model.
It is not clear what effect the delayed negotiations are having on current ECW production, but a shortage of new double-deckers has prompted Maidstone and District to buy 12 former South Yorkshire PTE Bristol VRTs.
