Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

:OACH operator Hugh McColl, of Keil, Benderloch, is to ,perate two new services in the West Highland area next season. a a sitting of the Traffic -Commissioners in Glasgow, he was uccessful with two applications for excursions to Taynuilt and 'ort Appin.

The second tour is to Port Appin to connect with the motor 'essel returning via Loch Linnhe. The Commissioners granted he applications despite objections from Highland Omnibuses .td and W. Alexander & Sons (Midland) Ltd.

At a further sitting in Glasgow, Mr McColl was successful vhen he objected to applications by Salopia Saloon Coaches .td, Whitchurch. and Beeline Roadways Ltd, Middlesbrough, to perate an afternoon tour from Oban to Easdaie.

After hearing objections and evidence from applicants, the :ommissioners decided that the Easdale route was adequately overed by the existing operator. They also felt that it was not in he public interest to grant the applications.
