NORTHERN GENERAL TRANSPORT CO.
LTD. has bought the experimental forwardentrance, front-engined Routemaster RM1254 built for LTB and exhibited at the 1962 Commercial Motor Show. It joins the 50 rear entrance, Leyland -engined Routemasters already operated by Northern and LTB has fitted it with a reconditioned Leyland engine to suit the new operator. It will be converted to a 72-seater.
