Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MPROVEMENTS have been made to

the transmissions of Leyland Comet ad Super Comet 16-ft. I I-in.-wheelbase mr-wheelers. The changes have tvolved replacing the two-piece ropeller shaft with a three-piece ;sembly, and this has involved moving a intermediate cross-member forward ad adding a similar member to support le second propeller-shaft mounting.

This improvement to both models tould be welcomed by operators who in these vehicles at high speeds. 'hen a Leyland Super Comet was road sted by The Commercial Motor ktober 2. 1959) comment was made aout two distinct transmission-vibration !Hods, one of which occurred at 1 m.p.h. and the other at 58 m.p.h. The ;e of three relatively short propelleraft sections with two flexibly mounted ipport bearings should do much to leviate this condition.
